Prodigy

about

Prodigy is the first single from the concept album of the same name, set in a universe where special individuals dubbed Prodigies have the ability to transfer their consciousness outside of time and space to the body of another human being but every time their ability is triggered, they are forced to watch the entirety of someone else's life as a mere observer without any influence from cradle to grave with no escape.

lyrics

Another ghost in the hallway
Screaming for the mortified
Condemned to be martyred
Even if the stars align
I'll bring them back and bring me home
He yelled through the hole inside his heart
Separated from the root of all evil

Eye for an eye
Lead the blind
Power of I
Redefined

This crown is tainted with blood
I can see it through him
If I could change the past I would
Set him on a new path
Within these walls
I may be confined
Yet my spirit flows
Free through time

This burning sensation
I feel right inside his chest
He knows a man who seeks revenge
Shall dig two graves
Perish and burn so you feel what I felt
He yelled at the ghosts of giants
Those who he had felled

Eye for an eye
Leave them blind
Power of I
Redefined

This town is painted with blood
I can see it through him
If I could change the past I would
Set him on a new path
Within these walls
I may be confined
Yet my spirit roams
Free from time
