about

Sea of Plastic is a gloomy song about marine pollution which leads to the loss of ocean life and sea biodiversity causing irreparable damage to the ecosystem as a whole.

lyrics

Have you seen our oceans lately?
Lifeless, dead waters
Devoid of all the species thriving in there
Who've all died
Toxic oil spills from roaring beasts
Extracting, so wicked and sick
Turtles and fish
Drowning in a sea of plastic

Yet our own clock's still ticking away
With silence we kill, in silence they lay
Wonderful creatures choking on our waste
Silent are they, gone without a trace

One day the oceans call us back
Drown us in a puddle of regrets
For the lives we've failed to protect
One too many times
One too many chances lost
To rescue them
They were the only ones
Who could save us
